the quality of the eyes were great and hold up well, the backing was different on a few maybe different vendor some eyes did come off backing but not a deal breaker, ships fast, the size of the eyes were true to size and great selection of colors
The chrome finish remains shiny after clear coat unlike other paint on “chrome” versions, and is uniform around the bait unlike the foiled versions that have seems.
Good quality hooks at a reasonable price.
For me, this is a situational bait, Effective in shallow water when the bass are chasing small baitfish, The lure tends to sink tail first unless a quick pop of the rod is used when the bait hits the water. Then it sinks in a slight nose down presentation, which I think is more natural. I like to let it sink to the bottom and retrieve it with a slow cadence, pausing it often and letting it settle to the bottom again It cast very well on light line for its size.
